2021 Anti Doping

On 1 January 2021, a new version of the World Anti-Doping Code will be launched. The Code is an essential document which harmonises anti-doping policies, rules and regulations around the globe and impacts all athletes, coaches and sports organisations.

UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) has created a Q&A and an infographic to clarify the changes relating to anti-doping rule violations (ADRVs) and length of bans under the 2021 World Anti-Doping Code (2021 Code).

At this stage, NGBs are asked to contact UKAD if they have any questions on how the changes will impact their sport.

UK Anti-Doping Rules

The current UK Anti-Doping Rules, which were last updated in 2019, remain in force until the end of 2020. You can find the current UK Anti-Doping Rules here. The new Rules from 2021 onwards can be found on their website.

(UK Deaf Sport Anti doping page has been updated to reflect these changes)
