The upcoming 6th Deaf Sports Personality of the Year awards will be yet another exciting event with a fantastic array of Deaf sport talent, that will certainly give the judges and audience a tough time to select the winner!
The shortlisted nominees for each category will be announced from the 23 to the 29th of November 2020 at 12 noon (GMT) via DSPY website and other social media accounts such a Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
Please make sure to follow them to be kept updated of the announcement for the slideshow of shortlisted nominees next week, with the voting going live in the next few weeks too.
Here’s a timetable of each category they’ll be announcing the nominees for:
November23rd –Visual Sports Media of the Year 2020 and Overseas Visual Sports Media of the Year 2020
24th –Unsung Hero of the Year 2020
25th –Sports Club of the Year 2020 and Overseas Sport of the Year 2020
26th – Young Deaf Sports Personality of the Year 2020
27th – Team of the Year 202028th – Coach of the Year 2020
29th – Deaf Sports Personality of the Year 2020
Those who have been shortlisted nominees have triumphed despite the pandemic, as well as the sports clubs/team that have continued to strive for their goals even with the disruptions to their sporting events, and most importantly it couldn’t be possible without the help and support of the coaches and local heroes that made it possible.

1-6th Dec:- Live Voting online for the audience to choose their winner via www.dspy.co.uk
16-18th Dec:- Announcement of the winners in each category via DSPY social media.
