AGM 2018

Dear Friends,

On behalf of the Board of Directors of UK Deaf Sport, it is my great pleasure to extend a formal invitation to our members and partners to the UK Deaf Sport Annual General Meeting 2018.

The AGM will be held on the 10th November 2018 at The National Cycling Centre, Stuart St, Manchester M11 4DQ. The AGM will start at 10.30am, with registration from 10am. You can find the AGM Notice and associated papers online here:

Following the conclusion of the formal part of the AGM, we will have presentations on UKDS activity and the opportunity for any questions with the Directors.

If you are not the authorised UKDS Representative for your organisation, I would be grateful if you could please pass on to the appropriate person and let us know so that we can update our records.

UK Deaf Sport works in partnership with key organisations to ensure that deaf children, young people and adults have equal opportunities to participate and excel in sport and physical activity as their hearing counterparts from grassroots to elite level.

As the National Governing Body for Deaf Sport, UK Deaf Sport are responsible for ensuring good governance including the administration and coordination of deaf sport teams competing abroad at both a British and Home Nation level. UK Deaf Sport is also responsible for the selection and management of the DeaflympicsGB Team, the official team that represents Great Britain at the Summer and Winter Deaflympics.
