On Saturday 18 November, UK Deaf Sport held its Annual General Meeting at Stifel Offices in London.

The meeting was well attended by members, athletes and coaches from a wide range of sports and physical activity. Updates on how the organisation has developed over the last year and plans for the future were shared by UK Deaf Sport Executive Chair – Piers Martin, Head of Participation – Valerie Copenhagen and members of the Performance Committee Christof Niklaus and Danny Lee.

The success of our deaf athletes having returned from the 23rd Summer Deaflympics in Samsun, Turkey was a key highlight of the meeting. With an update provided by DeaflympicsGB Chef de Mission, Christof Niklaus.
