DeaflympicsGB & Chef de Mission Christof Niklaus are delighted to announce that Bethan Lishman & Tom Baxter will be the captains for the Deaflympics in Samsun, Turkey.

The two captains will lead the team, mentor younger athletes & set the highest standards in order for DeaflympicsGB to succeed!! Tom Baxter a swimmer for DeaflympicsGB and competing in his third Deaflympics said “I am so excited and honoured to not only be part of this amazing DeaflympicsGB team but to be have chosen to be one of its captains. I hope that the team will have its most successful games yet” Bethan Lishman who is part of the Athletics team (hammer) and competing in her third Deaflympics said “… truly honoured to captain such an amazing team!
