Christof will be taking over from Chris Ratcliffe, after the former had to resign due to personal reasons. UKDS would like to thank Chris Ratcliffe for all of his hard work thus far in organising the DeaflympicsGB squad for Samsun 2017 and wish him all the best in his future endeavours. Christof Niklaus joins the DeaflympicsGB team with a wealth of experience in deaf sports.

christofChristof said, “I’m honoured to step into this position to hopefully lead the DeaflympicsGB team to success at the 2017 Deaflympics and it is my intention to make this journey memorable for the participating athletes and officials as the Deaflympics is the pinnacle of deaf sports. I’m also under no illusion, this is a challenge but by utilising my previous ICSD Sports Manager and Football Technical Director experience, I hope this will benefit DeaflympicsGB in their quest for success at the highest level.”
