England Deaf Football to host development day for Deaf Futsal

England Deaf Football are pleased to announce they are hosting a development taster session for Deaf Futsal on Saturday 17 November 2018. 

England Deaf Football and Football Association will be leading a taster session into Futsal and exploring the game of Futsal, before ending the day with taster sessions and demonstration of key rules/laws of the game.

This event is aimed for everyone, deaf or hard of hearing – looking to develop quick introduction to game of Futsal? Perhaps you are a manager or secretary of a club looking to expand into Futsal? Or you are a player who want to explore further opportunities to play Futsal across Deaf community.

This will take place on Saturday 17 November 2018 at PlayFootball Birmingham.

Deadline to register your interest is 5pm on Friday 9 November 2018. Clubs wishing to participate in Mini-tournament must register by this date.

Event timeline

9.30am – Tea/Coffee and introduction
10.30am – Laws of the Futsal game & Futsal opportunities in Deaf/Hearing competitions
11.30am – Demonstration, Play and Learn – understanding the law of the Futsal game on Futsal pitch
12.30pm – Lunch break
1.30pm – Futsal Mini-Tournament with Qualified FA Futsal referee (Grouped/mixed ages subjected to numbers of teams. Youth, Women and Men all welcome)
5.30pm – End of Day
