The role works closely with National Governing Bodies of sport (NGBs) and County Sports Partnerships (CSPs). A key priority is to ensure collaborative approaches to support NGBs to deliver their Whole Sports Plan (WSP) targets for disabled people in sport at a local level:
It also entails taking lead responsibility for a specific area to support the sports sector. This means increasing the awareness and understanding to engage effectively with disabled people.
Working closely with other team members and EFDS colleagues, the succesful applicant will contribute towards the delivery of EFDS key organisational objectives. These support the increase of opportunities and sustainable sports participation by disabled people.
