People’s Postcode Trust, the grant-giving charity funded entirely by players of People’s Postcode Lottery, is nowopen for new applications. Our players have raised over £17.1 Million for charities across Britain so far. Today, the Trust is encouraging local groups to apply for some much-needed funding.
Judie McCourt, ambassador for People’s Postcode Lottery, said: “We’re delighted to announce the opening of another new round of funding for charities and community groups. We have helped support over 600 projects so far and hope to see lots of new worthy applications in this new round.No organisation is too big or too small, we have seen how just £500 can make the world of difference to an organisation. We really want to encourage everyone to get on the website and use our simple form to apply.”
The Trust has funded 748 projects across Great Britain to date. Previous examples have included sports coaching for children and young people.
All community groups, sports clubs and registered charities are invited to apply for funding from £500 up to £2,000.
