Fundraising at Manchester City Football Club

As part of the push to raise funds to support the development of deaf sport across the country. UK Deaf Sport has secured a charity match day collection at Manchester City Football Club.

We are now looking for volunteers to help maximise the opportunity that we have to do a match day charity collection at Manchester City Football Club before one of the Premiership Games against Sunderland. All funds raised by the collection will be used to support deaf and hard of hearing people access sport.

Where? Manchester City Football Club, Etihad Stadium, Etihad Campus. Manchester. M11 3FF(http://www.mcfc.co.uk/The-Club/Business-directory)

When? Thursday 1st January 2015 from 1pm – 3.30pm.

As the National Governing Body for Deaf Sport, UK Deaf Sport are responsible for ensuring good governance including the administration and coordination of deaf sport teams competing abroad at both a British and Home Nation level. UK Deaf Sport is also responsible for the selection and management of the DeaflympicsGB Team, the official team that represents Great Britain at the Summer and Winter Deaflympics.
