GB Deaf Swim Squad swimmer

Message from Margaret Baxter; Secretary, GB Deaf Swimming Club (www.gbdeafswimming.org)

Andrew Rees, an ex-GB Deaf Swim Squad swimmer has offered to swim the Channel to raise funds for next year’s Deaflympic squad.  We are extremely grateful to Andrew, and I do hope that you will be able to sponsor him, and to ask your friends, family and colleagues to support this brave gentleman to raise money for our club.  As you may be aware, the GB squad, who will be selected later this year, receive no funding from any Government body, unlike their Olympic and Paralympic counterparts, so fundraising such as this will be immensely helpful.

JustGiving sends your donation straight to UK Deaf Sport and automatically reclaims Gift Aid if you are a UK taxpayer, so your donation is worth even more.

Thank you in advance for your support.
