ICSD approves ‘4 Year Deaf Sports Cycle’

ICSD’s Deaf Sports Reform Working Group met in Munich, Germany at the end of June 2010.
They discussed a new ‘4 Year Deaf Sports Cycle‘. This concept is to show the sports cycle of all three categories:
  1. Deaflympics
  2. World
  3. Youth.
The Deaf Sports Cycle is part of President Craig Crowley’s ICSD Strategic Plan. ICSD Executive Board unanimously approved the 4 Year Deaf Sports Cycle.
ISCD will explain and discuss this ‘4 Year Deaf Sports Cycle’ during their ICSD Congress workshop in 2011.

UK Deaf Sport is also responsible for the selection and management of the DeaflympicsGB Team, the official team that represents Great Britain at the Summer and Winter Deaflympics.
