ICSD has announced that Mr Mark Cooper (CEO) of ICSD and Ms. Roanna Simmons (Operations Manager of ICSD) have had their employment terminated, citing declining financial situation as the reason of the termination. ICSD have located a temporary office of the ICSD Secretariat at the premises of the National Association of the Deaf of the Russian Federation in Moscow. ICSD have also appointed Mr Dmitry Rebrov from the National Association of the Deaf of the Russian Federation as Manager of the ICSD Secretariat Office. This changes are subject to approval of the ICSD Executive Committee.

ICSD have convened a meeting with the Government of the Russian Federation on the 14^th January 2014 for the final approval of the 18^th Winter Deaflympics Khanty-Mansiysk. We will be notified of the official decision shortly after that.

UK Deaf Sport are monitoring the situation and will be keen to hear further factual information to those changes and to what impact it has for the future.
