It will be an opportunity for Deaf Community Groups to meet with Sports and Leisure organisations to discuss how to improve access to activities so people who are deaf or hard of hearing have more opportunities to play, coach and volunteer in Sport.
Over 50 people from 45 organisations will be attending this includes ;
Sport organisations such as Sport England, English Federation For Disability Sport, Access Sport, British Gymnastics, The Lawn tennis Association, England Athletics, England Golf, England Handball, British Water ski and Wakeboard, British Cycling and England Netball and football clubs such as Arsenal, West Ham, Brentford and Charlton.
Deaf Community Organisations such as National Deaf Childrens Society, Remark, Royal Association For Deaf People, Deaf Parenting UK and CommunityID, will be taking part as will Disability Organisations such as Motivate East, Action Disability and Disability Sports Coach UK.
London Borough Councils will be represented by Tower Hamlets, Newham, Camden, Kensington and Chelsea, Hounslow Ealing, Islington and Barking and Dagenham.
