Regional training camps for deaf revealed

The England Cricket Association for the Deaf and the ECB have arranged the first regional winter training camps for deaf cricketers.

The camps have various purposes:

  • To help local players train under qualified coaches,
  • Improve and enjoy their cricket;
  • To use the regional centres as a benchmark to the England and Lions squads;
  • To aid participation in domestic and international tournaments;
  • To help develop deaf counties, clubs and NDCS groups
