They also spent the day with deaf swimmer Danielle Joyce, following her punishing training schedule of 5am starts, school lessons, physiotherapy and homework as she chases new records in the pool.
UK Deaf Sport’s honorary president Craig Crowley MBE talked to John Hay in Talking Hands, reflecting on his life and career in deaf sport from a young age, and looks to the future.
