Bexley Deaf Centre:

In July 1994 Bexley Deaf Group became a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee. The centre provides a myriad of services for the deaf community, namely a job club, Communication classes, a hearing aid clinic, information, advice and advocacy to name a few. Currently Bexley Deaf Centre are running Walking Football and Lunch Clubs.

Queen Mary’s Hospital – ECLO service

The hospital provides treatment for eye conditions in its Ophthalmology Department. The Kent Association for the Blind (KAB) provide an Eye Clinic Liaison Officer (ECLO) who can offer you advice, emotional support and information about: eye conditions, benefits you may be entitled to, employment issues, useful organisations, registering your sight loss, rehabilitation, and more.

The Sensory Support Service provides services to adults and children who are Deaf and hearing impaired, and also to people with sight loss and those with dual sensory impairments throughout the London Borough of Bexley.

Bexley Beavers provides swimming for people with disabilities, their families, carers and friends – an opportunity for the whole family to enjoy a good swim. They have exclusive use of both the large and small pools for this time period and are open to all ages and all disabilities.
