The Rugby Football Union commit to deaf sport.

The Rugby Football Union is committed to delivering opportunity Deaf people to access their sport.

Equity & Inclusion Manager from the RFU said “Everybody who wishes to take part – whether as a player, coach, referee or other volunteer – should be given the opportunity to reach their potential. We believe that rugby, with its core values of respect, discipline, enjoyment, sportsmanship and teamwork, is a game that everyone can play.

To this end, I welcome the development of this guidance document for all involved in rugby union. It provides vital information for players, parents, coaches and administrators in ensuring that children and adults with any level of deafness have a positive experience of the sport.”
