Train to be a Fitness Instructor with InstructAbility

The program involves participation in the YMCAfit Gym Instructor course, a fifteen day course designed to give participants the skills, knowledge and confidence to begin their fitness career. They will receive comprehensive learning resources and all the guidance and support needed to pass the course. Successful completion of the course will lead to an internationally recognised qualification, the CYQ Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing

The second phase of the program involves a six week work placement to be undertaken at a local gym, two days a week. During this time participants will gain valuable work experience and the potential to find full time or casual work in the industry. Upon completion of 72hrs of voluntary service each participant will receive an evaluation from the employee which can be used as a future reference Please note this is part of the project and therefore compulsory
