It is only just over two weeks now until the 2014 Deaf Sport Personality of the Year Awards on November 29th at the Ricoh Arena

All shortlist of nominees have been selected and this year the process was a very tough decision for the judges as each of the 250 nominations has been outstanding in your own field. The individuals and teams on the shortlists should all be proud of what they have achieved.  More details on www.dspy.co.uk/shortlisted.html

DSPY will announce who the judges were on the night J but we can tell you they are made up of three sportswomen & three sportsmen (representing Northern Ireland, North, Midlands, South of England, Scotland and Wales).

The winner for each category will be decided by both the judge and audience’s votes – 60% of marks awarded by the 6 neutral judges before DSPY2014 Awards Night, then 40% of the marks will come from the audience who will vote using a electronic vote system. The best total percentage added from both judges and audience will be the winner for each award. More details on the voting pads look at www.clikapad.com

DSPY still have e-tickets (£30 per ticket per person) left and those will be on sale until Friday 28th November 2014.   More details on www.dspy.co.uk/ticket.html . Over 300 guests are set to attend so far J
