UK Deaf Sport AGM 2017

The Board of Trustees and staff at UK Deaf Sport would like to invite the Deaf community, partners, athletes, organisations and wider community to join us for our Annual General Meeting taking place on Saturday 18 November 2017. 

We have much to share at this upcoming meeting including an update on our work to date, future plans and a chance to celebrate the success of our Deaf Athletes who have recently returned from the 23rd Deaflympics Games in Samsun, Turkey.

Venue for the AGM is Stifel Offices, 150 Cheapside, London, EC2V 6ET.

Date of the AGM is Saturday 18 November 2017.  

Timings for the day – 10am registration, ready for a 10.30am start.

BSL/English interpreters will be provided on the day.

Following the conclusion of the AGM, there will be presentations and Q&A with the Directors on our recent activities. Light refreshments will also be provided.

UK Deaf Sport works in partnership with key organisations to ensure that deaf children, young people and adults have equal opportunities to participate and excel in sport and physical activity as their hearing counterparts from grassroots to elite level.

As the National Governing Body for Deaf Sport, UK Deaf Sport are responsible for ensuring good governance including the administration and coordination of deaf sport teams competing abroad at both a British and Home Nation level. UK Deaf Sport is also responsible for the selection and management of the DeaflympicsGB Team, the official team that represents Great Britain at the Summer and Winter Deaflympics.
