UKDS and Good Governance

UK Deaf Sport has signed up to the Sport and Recreation Alliance’s (SRA) Code of Good Goverance.

In a letter to UKDS Chair Philip Gerrard, the SRA confirmed that we had

“made a visible commitment to improving [our] governance frameworks.”

UKDS is now able to access the SRA’s support tools on their website and attend Code development workshops and other events.

In the letter, the SRA also congratulated UKDS on the five medals won by DeaflympicsGB at the recent Summer Games in Sofia.
