UK Deaf Sport – Recruiting a Performance Lead Coach (Athletics) Voluntary

Are you passionate about developing athletes and leading performance programmes? UK Deaf Sport is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Performance Lead Coach (Athletics) to support the continued development of deaf athletics talent and performance pathways.

This voluntary role offers an exciting opportunity to work with talented athletes, contribute to programme development, and play a key role in helping athletes achieve success at national and international level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the development of the athletics performance pathway.
  • Work collaboratively with athletes, coaches, practitioners, and support staff.
  • Contribute to athlete development plans and performance environments.
  • Support talent identification and progression opportunities.
  • Help prepare athletes for major competitions and international representation.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience coaching athletics within a performance environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Passion for athlete development and inclusive sport.
  • Understanding of high-performance sport and pathway development.
  • Commitment to supporting deaf athletes to achieve their potential.
