Claire highlights the discrimination deaf athletes receive as the UK Government give no funding to elite deaf athletes to represent DeaflympicsGB at the Deaflympics Games. However the over £600 Million is spent every four years on Olympic and Paralympic sport through UK Sport but the current Government policy excludes deaf athletes from accessing it.

Claire also shares her journey to the recent ICSD World Deaf Football Championships in Malaysia September 2023 with the England Deaf Women’s Football Team.
