Archery GB and a newly formed Deaf Archery Working Group are working in collaboration to improve their provision for archers with a hearing loss. They initially conducted a survey to help identify how many archers might be Deaf or Hard of Hearing, the barriers they may have faced and ideas to overcome these barriers. The survey was launched in an article showcasing Pascal, a Deaf archer who has overcome obstacles to pursue his passion. Archery GB and the Deaf Archery Working Group have also created an Archery British Sign Language Signs and Deaf Awareness Tips resource.
