UKDS delivers SMV Parasports Festival Day in Birmingham

On 19^th August, BBS, Sport Birmingham and UKDS delivered a SMV Parasports Festival Day in Birmingham. There was a range of different sports and activities throughout the day! We all had a wonderful day supporting young people with disabilities to participate in sports featured at the Commonwealth Games.

We had inspiring guest speakers Melanie Barratt, Darren Harris, Rebecca Redfern and Genny Controneo from Activity Alliance. We’d like to thank them for being part of the day and inspiring young attendees and making them feel a part of the Birmingham 2022 legacy. And thank you to all who attended, volunteers, and coaches who helped to make the event a success!
