Destination Deaflympics Have A Go Day Impact Report 2025

In 2025, UK Deaf Sport and Destination Deaflympics launched the Have a Go Day fund to subscribers of the Destination Deaflympics programme. The fund was created to allow providers in areas of greatest need to organise and run a Destination Deaflympics Have a Go Day event giving deaf young people an opportunity to come together and enjoy physical activity.

Our attached Impact Report collates the detail around the guidance and support providers were given from UK Deaf Sport, along with case studies and participation figures and information.

You can read the full report below, along with links to the individual case studies, and discover how you can apply to run your own Have a Go Day in 2026.

Destination Deaflympics – Get Involved!

Destination Dealympics is UK Deaf Sport’s Youth Engagement Programme aimed at getting more deaf young people active and inspired by sport.

With deaf young people likely to be up to 50% less active that their hearing peers, Destination Deaflympics Resource Packs give deaf schools, community groups and deaf sport’s clubs the chance to increase engagement and enjoyment in being active!

If you are a UK based deaf school, deaf resource base, deaf community or sports club, or an organisation engaging with deaf 8–16 year olds, you can sign up for free!
