UK Deaf Sport is delighted to welcome Samantha Jamieson to the Board as its new Senior Independent Director.

Samantha brings over 15 years of senior leadership experience across the UK sporting sector, including roles with Welsh Cycling, Badminton England, Volleyball England and British Weight Lifting. She is currently Chief Operating Officer at Welsh Cycling and a Senior Consultant with Blueprint Sport.

With extensive experience in strategy, governance and organisational leadership, Samantha is passionate about inclusive, values-led leadership and the positive impact sport can have.

Good governance and inclusive, values-led leadership are things I care deeply about and UKDS’s mission to give deaf people equal opportunity in sport, from grassroots to the Deaflympics, is one I’m really proud to support.”
