GB Deaf Women Football Team Qualify for the 2025 Deaflympics in Tokyo

Congratulations to Great Britain Deaf Women football team for qualifying for the 2025 Deaflympics in Tokyo.

GB Deaf Women beat Poland Deaf Women 3-2 on Saturday 5 October 2024 at Hanley Town FC.

This was the first ever official deaf international women’s football match in the UK. The winner now qualifies for the 2025 Deaflympics in Tokyo, Japan.

Thank you to Poland Deaf Women for a highly competitive and exciting game.

Final Score GBR 3-2 Poland

GBR goals – Bowers 18′, Williams 21′, Mernagh 45+2′

Poland Goals – Bockowska 8′, Lasicka 32′

Match was supervised by ICSD Football Director Brice Allain.

Match officials were Nino Lantink, Jason Taylor, Jean-Paul Fekete and Ace Gray.
