With current Government advice recommending against non-essential contact and all unnecessary travel, UK Deaf Sport is joining with Sport England and encouraging our Deaf and HOH (Hard Of Hearing) users to use the hashtag #DeafStayInWorkOut to help share and find more accessible content.
Over the upcoming weeks we will be sharing ideas and videos from a wide range of existing deaf inclusive activity providers and individuals to bring you and your children a variety of fun and interactive workouts that you can do in your home or garden.
We will be working hard to ensure these ideas and links are as inclusive and deaf friendly as possible.
Watch this space for our own content created specifically for our members, but in the meantime have a look at our recommendations below and please continue to share online what you are doing.
We’ll be pulling together some fun routines for children and young people covering a variety of high and low intensity activities and sports!
We will also be sharing some videos from our GB Deaf Athletes about how they are keeping active at home and some ideas for young deaf children and adults to get involved in.
