UK Coaching – Coaching the Person in Front of You

This 3- hour workshop is the first of 3 workshops provided by UK Coaching and delivered by experienced D/deaf coaches.

This workshop will teach you about the ‘Understand + Connect = Thrive’ outlook, to help you better understand the needs of D/deaf hard of hearing women and girls who come to your sessions and how best to grow their lifelong love of sport and physical activity.

What you will learn:

–        How to develop and model a person-centred mindset and develop your soft skills to have a greater impact with your participants.

–        Strategies and tactics to help you to identify a persons individual needs, motivations and goals using the understand + connect = thrive framework.

–        How to become an expert in people so that whatever your objective, you can provide the most engaging experiences for your participants.

This workshop is for all deaf women who are coaches or volunteers in sport and physical activity sessions/clubs/organisations.
